Today we had to do a new slide presentation out of nothing. We had to download three different documents to insert them into the presentation. then we had to change the presentations color scheme for some of the slides. We also had to change the font size. And the formatting of the slides.

Today we had two lesson, and they were both from blank new presentations. On the first one we had to open a file on word and open it to Power Point, so the document would be presented as a presentation. Then we had to add a new silde it had to be the first slide, so it had to be a title slide. Then we had to go to Format then go to Slide Design. We had to pick a design that was about the ocean. Then we had to change the font and size of the text in the presentation. Then we had to Change the color of all the titles to mint green. For the secoud lesson we had to change the background of the third, second, and fourth slide so that it could be diffrent. Then we had to change the color scheme of the third slide to lime green. This is to much green.

Today Mrs. H was in a hurry we had to complete three lessons real fast. Mrs. H was on a mission today. We had to open a blank presentation, then a presentation that was already layedout, and the last one was also a new blank presentation. On the first one we had to add the title and the subtitle. Then we had to add a background that was about the beach. Then we had to add a new slide and add a title then three bullets. On the secound lesson we had to Change the colopr for the backgrounds, two times. Then we had to change the size font of all the text of every slide. We also had to change the bold and the color of the text as well.

On todays lesson for Roller coaster History we had to add three different hyperlinks for three differnent slides. We had to click on Hyperlink on the standard toolbar. Then we had to click Place in this Document in the Link to panel. The list box poped up and then you had to click on the tenth silde. So that when you clicked on the words they would go to the tenth slide. When done the words are highlighted and underlined to indecate that you have a hyperlink on those words. Then we had to do two more on for a program and another for a web page. So I learned how to put a hyperlink in the power point presentation.

On this lesson we had to add a new slide to the presentation. We found out how to add a new slide with just clicking on of the buttons on the Formatting toolbar. Also which of the layouts for the slide to choose. We had to put the title and then the company's information on it like the addres and the telephone number along with the fax number. Ater we were done with putting the compay's information on slide 2. It tought us how to take the bullets of the text off so that it could be more like an address. Then we had to learn how to delet a slide using the delete a slide button usind the Edit menu.

On todays lesson we had to go the view menu and we had to select Ruler. Then we had to place the the insertion point anywhere in the subtite placeholder. Then we had to pick and drag the buttom indent to the right so the bullets would move to the right. Then we had to indent one of the bullets so that it wouldn't be a bullet no more. after that we had to Decrease indent one of the last bullets of a slide so that when it moves it becomes a new slide. Then we had to Increase indent so that it could go back and the new slide would be deleted. So I learned how to Increase indent and decrease indent on the slides, many new ways.

On the quiz thast I took I thought that I was going to do bad. However I got a 100. It was easy.

On todays lesson I learned a lot of usefull information. Like how to start a new presentation and how to choose the background that I think is more suitable for the presentation. also how to change the tittle of the slides. How to type on the object area so that the the points are clear and that the bullets come up for every point. Also how to cange the font of the bullets. To change the different colors. Also how to delete the bullets and then bring them back. Also how to run or preview the presentation to see if it came out right. Also how to add up to six slides on a single sheet of paper. Also how to put it in black and white so the black ink isn't wasted.

I wasn't here on Wednesday. But when you gave me the worksheet the next day I learned a lot of new words. Words like Presentation, thumbnails, splitter bars, title slide, title, placeholder, and RTF (rich text formate. A RTF is a file formate with the extention. RTF that enables text to be transferred and read by different applicatins, such as Word. A placeholder is the place where you can add text, objects. Title is what goes on top of every slide and states the main topic of the slide. Title side is the first slide of the presentation that states wha the presentation is about. A splitter bar is a vertical or horizontal bar on the slide. Thumbnails are small-size views of all slides in the presentation. A presentation is a formal or informal report. All these words I learned today.

What I learned from the lesson was that It showed me how to open it. Also all the slides that it can have. How to resize the slides and the different types of fonts on the sides. I learned all the new words for the program. Like a thumbnails are the icones for each slide. Also the splinter bar is the bar that can be moved up or down o fit mare information on the sceen, and it is at the buttom of the screen. Also how to go through the presentation. Also how to view all the slides at once. Then choosing the one you want to pick. how to move through the slides by using many different keys and also how to move it by the mouse and the scroll bar.
